For over 30 years, Nature’s Design has been crafting exceptional landscapes in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Founded in 1997 by Pete Casavecchia, the company has grown from a small operation into a premier landscape design and installation firm, known for quality craftsmanship, sustainable practices, and artistic vision.

Our Story

Pete discovered his passion for landscape design and horticulture at a young age while working in Virginia. In 1992, he moved to Steamboat Springs, where he honed his skills in landscaping across the Yampa Valley. By 1997, he founded Nature’s Design, focusing on high-quality landscape installations, water features, and hardscaping.

Jennifer joined the Steamboat community in 1997, launching Terra Bella in 2000 as a specialized gardening and seasonal planting service. Over time, Pete and Jennifer merged their talents, building both a family and a thriving business that evolved alongside the needs of the community.

In addition to landscape design, Jennifer also specializes in custom floral arrangements for weddings and events. Her artistic touch and deep knowledge of flowers, native plants, and seasonal blooms bring a unique elegance to any special occasion.
